The Beach Boys es un grupo musical estadounidense formado en 1961, representante del estilo californiano de vida de los años 60 y uno de los mayores representantes de la cultura del surf de la época. Formado por tres hermanos Brian (compositor, vocales, bajo, piano), Carl (guitarra, vocales) y Dennis Wilson (batería, vocales), junto con un primo de la familia, Mike Love (vocal) y un compañero de estudio de Brian, Al Jardine (guitarra, vocales).

La película que más canciones del grupo a utilizado es "Downtown" de 1990, las canciones son: "Shut Down", "I Get Around", "Catch a Wave", "Surfin' USA" y "Surfer Girl". También hay otra película que utiliza cinco canciones es "Life on the Longboard" de 2005, utiliza: "Don’t Worry Baby", "All Summer Long", "Catch A Wave", "Do it Again" y "Surfer Girl". La más reciente es del 2009, "The Boat That Rocked" en esa película suena la canción "Wouldn't It Be Nice".
