The Animals - Please Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood.flv

baby, do you understand me now
sometimes i feel a little mad
but don't you know that no one alive
can always be an angel
when things go wrong I seem to be bad
but I'm just a soul whose intentions are good
oh lord, please don't let me be misunderstood

baby, sometimes I'm so carefree
with a joy that's hard to hide
and sometimes it seems that all I have do is worry
then you're bound to see my other side
but I'm just a soul whose intentions are good
oh lord, please don't let me be misunderstood

if I seem edgy I want you to know
that I never mean to take it out on you
life has it's problems and I get my share
and that's one thing I never meant to do
because I love you
oh, oh baby don't you know I'm human
have thoughts like any other one
sometimes I find myself long regretting
some folish thing some little simple thing I've done

but I'm just a soul whose intentions are good
oh lord, please don't let me be misunderstood
yes, I'm just a soul whose intentions are good
oh lord, please don't let me be misunderstood
yes, I'm just a soul whose intentions are good
oh lord, please don't let me be misunderstood

* There is a house in new orleans
they call the rising sun
and it's been the ruin of many a poor boy
and god i know i'm one
My mother was a tailor
she sewed my new bluejeans
my father was a gamblin' man
down in new orleans
Now the only thing a gambler needs
is a suitcase and trunk
and the only time he's satisfied
is when he's on a drunk
------ organ solo ------
Oh mother tell your children
not to do what i have done
spend your lives in sin and misery
in the house of the rising sun
Well, i got one foot on the platform
the other foot on the train
i'm goin' back to new orleans
to wear that ball and chain
Well, there is a house in new orleans
they call the rising sun
and it's been the ruin of many a poor boy
and god i know i'm one
