WINGER - WIKIPEDIA Y TEMAS

Winger

Winger es una banda de glam metal, nacida en la ciudad de Nueva York, Estados Unidos, surgida en 1986. El bajo de la banda de Alice Cooper, Kip Winger, formó su propio grupo. En él, Kip Winger (voz y bajo), era acompañado por los componentes Reb Beach, Paul Taylor (también en la banda de Alice) y Rod Morgenstein. Tras pensar diversos nombres para la banda como Call Your Doctor o Sahara (recibieron una carta que les decía que ya había un grupo con este nombre), decidieron escoger el nombre de su líder, Winger. Esta banda se especializó y llegó más allá de eso en el "pop-metal" que había lanzado a Bon Jovi y Poison al éxito.
