The Impressions - WIKIPEDIA Y TEMAS
The Impressions
The Impressions are an American music group from Chicago, originally formed in 1958. Their repertoire includes doo-wop, gospel, soul, and R&B.
The group was founded as The Roosters by Chattanooga, Tennessee natives Sam Gooden, Richard Brooks, and Arthur Brooks, who moved to Chicago and added Jerry Butler and Curtis Mayfield to their line-up to become Jerry Butler & the Impressions. By 1962, Butler and the Brookses had departed, and after switching to ABC-Paramount Records, Mayfield, Gooden, and new Impression Fred Cash collectively became a top-selling soul act. Mayfield left the group for a solo career in 1970; Leroy Hutson, Ralph Johnson, Reggie Torian, Sammy Fender, and Nate Evans were among the replacements who joined Gooden and Cash. Inductees into both the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the Vocal Group Hall of Fame, The Impressions are best known for their 1960s string of hits, many of which were heavily influenced by gospel music and served as inspirational anthems for the Civil Rights Movement.

THE HUMAN LEAGUE - HUMAN
* Come on, baby, dry your eyes
Wipe your tears
Never like to see you cry
Won't you please forgive me?
I wouldn't ever try to hurt you
I just needed someone to hold me
To fill the void while you were gone
To fill this space of emptiness
I'm only human
Of flesh and blood i'm made
Human
Born to make mistakes
So many nights i longed to hold you
So many times i looked and saw your face
Nothing could change the way i feel
No-one else could ever take your place
I'm only human
Of flesh and blood i'm made
Human
Born to make mistakes
I am just a man
Please forgive me
The tears i cry aren't tears of pain
They're only to hide my guilt and shame
I forgive you now i ask the same of you
While we were apart i was human too
I'm only human
Of flesh and blood i'm made
I am just a man human
Human born to make mistakes

THE GOO GOO DOLLS - LAZY EYE
The Goo Goo Dolls
*The world spins round in secret lives
Everyone that needs to hide
Cheap parade of endless lies
Filters through this lazy eye
And I don't believe in signs
No I don't believe your lies
Caught in the breakdown
Caught in the breakdown
Caught in the breakdown
Caught in the breakdown
Lose yourself in no one's life
Trapped in all those empty lies
Words like fists that tear you down
Crash before they hit the ground
And I don't believe in signs
No I don't believe your lies
Caught in the breakdown

The Four Seasons - WIKIPEDIA Y TEMAS
The Four Seasons (band)
The Four Seasons is an American pop and rock group, with a sound somewhat reminiscent of doo-wop, although they were not thought of as actually being a doo-wop group. By the mid 1960s, they had become an internationally famous rock-and-roll act (the Vocal Group Hall of Fame has stated that it was the most popular white rock band before The Beatles).[1] Since 1967, they have been known off and on as Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons, though not identified as such on any of their records.
In 1960, the group known as The Four Lovers evolved into The Four Seasons, with Frankie Valli as the lead singer, Bob Gaudio (formerly of The Royal Teens) on keyboards and tenor vocals, Tommy DeVito on lead guitar and baritone vocals, and Nick Massi on bass guitar and bass vocals (Massi was replaced in 1965 by Charles Calello, who was in turn replaced later in 1965 by Joe Long on bass guitar and bass vocals).
The legal name of the organization is the Four Seasons Partnership, formed by Gaudio and Valli after a failed audition in 1961. While singers, producers, and musicians have come and gone, Gaudio and Valli remain the group's constant (with each owning fifty percent of the act and its assets, including virtually all of its recording catalog).[2][3] Gaudio no longer plays live, leaving Valli the only member of the group from its inception that is currently touring.[4]
The Four Seasons (group members 1960–1965) were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1990,[5] and it joined the Vocal Group Hall of Fame in 1999.[1] It is one of the best-selling musical groups of all time, having sold 175 million records worldwide.[4][6]

The Five Keys
The Five Keys is an American rhythm and blues vocal group that was instrumental in shaping this genre in the 1950s.
It was formed with the original name of Sentimental Four in Newport News, Virginia, U.S., in the late 1940s, and initially consisted of two sets of brothers - Rudy West (born 25 July 1932, Newport News, Virginia) and Bernie West (born 4 February 1930, Newport News), and Ripley Ingram (born 1930 - died 23 March 1995, Newport News) and Raphael Ingram. The Drifters - WIKIPEDIA Y TEMAS
The Drifters
The Drifters are a long-lived African-American doo wop/R&B vocal group with a peak in popularity from 1953 to 1962, though several splinter Drifters continue to perform today. They were originally formed by Clyde McPhatter (of Billy Ward & the Dominoes) in 1953. Rolling Stone magazine states that The Drifters were the least stable of the vocal groups due to being low-paid hired musicians of The Drifters' management.[1] The Treadwell Drifters website states that there have been 60 vocalists in the history of the Treadwell Drifters line.[2] Several splinter groups by former Drifters members add to the count. Nevertheless, there are two iterations of The Drifters which are notable. The first classic Drifters formed by Clyde McPhatter was inducted into the Vocal Group Hall of Fame as The Drifters or The Original Drifters.[3] The second Drifters formed by Treadwell featuring Ben E. King was separately inducted into the Vocal Group Hall of Fame as Ben E. King and The Drifters.[4] In their induction, The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame eclectically selected four members from the classic Drifters, two from the second Drifters, and one from the post-King Treadwell Drifters[5]. According to the Vocal Group Hall of Fame, "Through turmoil and changes the (original) Drifters managed to set musical trends and give the public 13 chart hits, most of which are legendary recordings today."[3]

THE CORRS - LOVE TO LOVE YOU
I would love to love you like you do me
I'd love to love you like you do me
There's a pillar in my way you see
I'd love to love you like you do me
I met you on a sunny Autumn day
You instantly attracted me when asking for the way
God if I had known the pain I'd make you feel
I would have stopped this start of us, and turned upon my heel
Though you should leave me
Time make it be alright
Though you must leave me
Time will help you see the light
You don't need me
Time make it be alright
Though you must leave me
Believe me when I tell you..
(Chorus)
You recognised my barrier to love
I know there's nothing worse than unrequited love (unrequitedlove)
So I prayed to God that I could give the love you gave to me
But something's lying in my way, preventing it to be
Though you should leave me
Time make it be alright
Though you must leave me
Believe me when I tell you
(Chorus)
(Chorus)
Break those pillars down
Break those pillars down
Take those pillars down, down, down
Oh, take those pillars down
(Love to love you like you do me)
Break those pillars down
(Love to love you like you do me)
Oh take those pillars down
(Love to love you)
(Love to love you)
(Love to love you)
Take those pillars down
(Love to love you)
